Cooperation between China and Kenya
Chinese Premier met with Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto. Li Keqiang said that there is significant room for cooperation between China and Kenya, as the two countries are both at a critical phase of development. Li also said China will continue to boost its comprehensive cooperative partnership between with Kenya. This includes supporting Kenya in maintaining national stability, promoting economic development, and improving people's livelihoods.
For his part, the Kenyan deputy president said Premier Li's visit had pushed forward both the country and continent's ties with China. He added that the visit would bring more benefits to the Kenyan and African people. And Ruto said that Kenya would pay special attention to bilateral cooperation in infrastructure construction, agriculture and tourism, as well as on international and regional affairs.
