Advantages of Molecular Sieve as Adsorbent

Molecular sieve is of crystallized aluminosilicate with uniform micropore. Those micropore has similar size with molecular, and specific molecular sieve is available to sieving molecular which is the reason it is called molecular sieve. Molecular sieve is non-toxic, odorless, non-corrosion, insoluable in water and organic solvents while soluable in strong acid/alkali.

Molecular sieve has unique crystal structure of neat, and each type of them has specific size, shape and pore structure with large surface area.

After treated by molecular sieve, material could only contain water within (1~10)×10-9, which is a 10~20 times higher purification ratio than silicon on removing H2S and CO2 from nature gas or pyrolysis gas; molecular sieve could isolate n-alkanes from isoparaffin which is dewaxing; molecular sieve could be used as catalyst on catalytic cracking, hydrocracking, catalytic reforming, isomerization of aromatics and alkane, alkylate and disproportionate etc; besides, as solid acid catalyst, molecular sieve is replacing liquid acid catalyst with strong corrosion such as sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid and alchlor
